Gonzalez triumphed on Wednesday in the 105kg weightlifting men's final.Maduro celebrated Gonzalez's victory with a dedicated message on Twitter, accompanied by a series of pictures of the moment the Venezuelan athlete won the gold.

In total, Gonzalez lifted 385kg to climb to the top of the podium at the Panamerican Games. In the first round, he had been tied with Ecuadoran Jorge Arroyo and Brazilian Mateus Gregoria Air Jordan 5s Premium Wine , before taking the lead in the final days.
In the clean and jerk category, the Venezuelan lifted a total of 210kg.
So far in Toronto, Venezuela has won eight medals, one gold, six silver, and one bronze.

UNITED NATIONS, March 1 (Xinhua) -- France on Sunday assumed the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council for March.
Francois Delattre, the permanent representative of France to the United Nations, took over the rotating council presidency from Liu Jieyi, the Chinese ambassador to the UN, who held the council presidency for February.
Last month, the Security Council held 35 meetings to consider more than 20 agenda items Air Jordan 5 Retro Premium Wine , including those on Syria, Yemen, Libya, South Sudan and Ukraine, adopting seven resolutions, two presidential statements and issuing 15 press statements.

SYDNEY, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Britain's Prince Harry will be embedded in the Australian army for a four week tour which signals the end of his military career.
Buckingham Palace confirmed on Tuesday that Prince Harry will be placed with the Australian army in the cities of Darwin, Perth and Sydney during the tour starting in April.
He will also attend the ANZAC centenary on the Turkish peninsula of Gallipoli with his father Prince Charles, local media reported.
Gallipoli was Australia's first major military campaign and is ingrained on the national pshcye.
Kensington Palace announced details of Harry's tour to Australia after it was first reported two weeks ago in British newspapers.
The palace said the 30-year-old Apache helicopter pilot will leave the British armed forces in June following a decade of full- time military service Air Jordan 5 Premium Bordeaux , including two tours of duty in Afghanistan.
It's not yet known what Harry will do next, except for charity work English royals specialize in.
"I am considering the options for the future," the prince said in the official statement.

BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Palace Museum in Beijing, also known as the Forbidden City, will open more areas to tourists and hold 18 new exhibitions in 2015 to mark its 90th anniversary.
More than 80 percent of the items to go on display have never seen by the public before, according to museum curator Shan Jixiang.
A permanent digital display will be installed on an exterior wall to screen content about the museum including when it is closed.
To be located on the main watchtower at the southern end of the complex Air Jordan 5 Premium Wine , the display is scheduled to open in October.
